Bussento river outfall

Less than 5 miles from Verdeblu, between the famous Cilento beaches of Scario and Policastro, the Bussento River, with its clear and deep waters, flows into the Mediterranean sea. Its banks are lush green with trees, gardens with home-grown vegetables grow almost up to the sea. By the mouth of the river, kayaking and canoeing is practiced going up and down stream, and fishing is practiced on both banks. Nearby, a horse riding school offers the opportunity of horseback riding.
